Jewett Creek Vineyard
Our grapes are largely sold to local wineries in the Columbia Gorge AVA though we are always looking to partner with new wineries.  Here is a selection of the wineries we've worked with, the wines they've made with our grapes and the accolades they've received.

Domaine Pouillon
Based in Lyle, Washington 10 miles east of our vineyard you will find Domaine Pouillon.  Alexis and Juliet Pouillon make a delightfully dry, Alsatian-style Gewürztraminer which is made 100% from our fruit.  Their first vintage was produced in 2008 but in 2010 they produced a lovely, fresh vintage that has received alot of praise.

Gewürztraminer Columbia Gorge 2010
Domaine Pouillon Gewürztraminer Columbia Gorge 2010 is fermented to dryness and expresses all of the exotic varietal characteristics you expect: lychee fruit, grapefruit, orchid flowers and just a touch of raw almonds. Enjoy with
spicy foods and exciting company! - the winery tucked away in the misty hills of White Salmon, Washington, overlooking the
scenic Columbia River Gorge, there is a small family farm that grows -dare we say - perfect Gewürztraminer. We are fortunate to be able to purchase just 2 tons of this elegant grape and ferment it in a single small batch, producing a very limited amount every vintage. - Domaine Pouillon

Review from Soul Wine in Seattle:
domaine Pouillon Gewurztraminer 2010 – Jewett Creek, Columbia Gorge
As though we needed more convincing that some of  Washington’s best white wines are made from Columbia Gorge! When
we tasted this  wine yesterday both of us had the same smile on our face. A smile indicating not  only how good this wine is but that it is a local product as well. It shows classic gewürztraminer spice and lychee on the nose but it is in the mouth that  it really shines. It is dry, yet bursting with fruit, rich in flavor without  heaviness and simply delicious. If you are an aromatic white wine fan, whether  or not you are a fan of this grape variety, you need to try this wine.

Gewürztraminer Columbia Gorge 2008
An incredibly complex, aromatic nose with fresh pineapple, lemon rind, honey, and mineral. Numerous sweet as well as acidic notes. A beautiful, but surprisingly understated palate that is like drinking a bouquet of flowers with the occasional orange peel mixed in. There is a bit of residual sugar, but not much. The palate evolves swiftly after opening, becoming considerably more acidic and developing an almost spritzy feel before settling back down. An exceptionally long finish. 13.8% alcohol.

2009 Unoaked Chardonnay
Bright forward aromas show pear and melon- no oak getting inthe way of pure chardonnay here! Medium-full body with complex pear and apple flavors, complimented by a slight flintyness. Wonderfully long and deep finish, while still very resfreshing on a summer day.

2007 Becky's Cuvee Columbia Gorge Pinot Noir
"The 2007 Pinot Noir Becky’s Cuvee is a blend of six vineyards. It offers a lovely bouquet of cedar, cinnamon, incense, cherry and raspberry. Smooth and easy-going on the palate, this flavorful, nicely concentrated, pleasure-bent wine will provide finedrinking over the next 5 years." Wine Advocate 89 Pts

2007 Le Petit Pinot Noir Columbia Gorge
Much of the wine was fermented by carbonic maceration - Beaujolais Nouveau techinique - for a soft, fruity style. The balance was traditionally fermented barrels selected for early approachability.  Attractive aromas of crushed strawberries lead to violets. juniper, white chocolate and white pepper. In the mouth the medium body is alive with flavors of strawberries, chocolate
and earth. Modest tannins support a supple finish.

Pheasant Valley Winery
2006 Columbia Gorge Chardonnay
This Chardonnay is a combination of McDuffee, Celilo and Larsen Vineyard (also known as Jewett Creek Vineyard) grapes. It is medium-full bodies with a supple entry. Barrel fermented  and ages 33% new French oak, leads to attractive aromas of pear, vanilla and coconut. Alcohol 14%

2008 Gewürztraminer Dessert Wine (Columbia Gorge)
    90 - International Wine Cellar (11/15/2010)
Full medium gold. Wild, slightly gamey aromas of peach nectar, tropical fruits and honey, with an herbaceous note that reminded me of Sauvignon Blanc. Then concentrated, silky and very sweet, but with firm acidity framing the opulent flavors of yellow
peach and canned pineapple. Hints at a light rancio quality and yet this comes across as very fresh. Finishes smooth, long and not at all phenolic, with a candied fruit quality and lovely lift. A fascinating and distinctive Gewurztraminer from the Northwest.

“…utterly delicious and sexy wine.”
"Pure old-fashioned roses, just like the books say. Litchis? Perhaps, but certainly pineapple, guava, apricot, honey. The flavors are just as complex, the balance chronometer precise, the finish nearly endless. The eleventh(!) vintage of this wine may well be the best yet."
